About The Omen Report
The Omen Report is an Australian publication examining child sexual abuse, exploitation, trafficking and the systems responsible for protecting children.
We follow documents, official data, court outcomes, regulatory action and institutional responses. We separate established fact from allegation, protect children and victim-survivors from identification, offer a fair right of reply and correct errors openly.

Truth Debugger
Essix created The Omen Report to examine the gap between official claims and what public records actually show. The publication focuses on child safety, institutional failure, digital exploitation and accountability in Melbourne, Victoria and Australia.
The voice is blunt. The evidence standard is not. Every statistic must carry its measure, jurisdiction, reporting period and limitations. Reports are not victims. Notifications are not substantiations. Allegations are not proven incidents. Charges are not convictions.
What “State Hopping” Means
“State Hopping” is The Omen Report’s name for a structural risk: a worker, offender or warning sign moving between employers, services or jurisdictions while fragmented records fail to reveal the complete pattern. It is an investigative concept—not proof that any named person crossed state borders or committed an offence. We apply the term only where the documented evidence supports it.
